Why This Reference Exists
Minnesota provides several public routes to custody and court information, but each route answers a different question. The Chisago County Sheriff documents a county jail release. The Minnesota Department of Corrections locator reports state custody and supervised-release status. Chisago County Community Corrections handles local probation, while federal prison releases appear through the Bureau of Prisons. This site organizes those release records, offender searches, supervision contacts, and request steps in one place without pretending that one database covers every released person.
